Marahil alam nyo na ang mga kwentong ito ngunit akin pa ring ibabahagi ng walang pagaalinlangan. Ito ay sa kadahilanang naisip kong may butas ang kwentong ito na dapat nating busisiin at dapat nating hanapan ng kasagutan.
Naalala ko lang na sabi sa'akin na sa pag-ibig, kailangan mong hanapin ang taong magsisilbing tsinelas mo sa buhay. Pero bakit tsinelas? Yun ba yung taong dapat matatapak-tapakan mo? Yung tipong sunud-sunuran sa'yo kahit saan ka magpunta? malamang hindi.

Mahilig kasi ang tao sa magagarang sapatos at yun ang madalas nating hinahanap upang may ilalantad at ipagmamayabang tayo sa lahat ng makakikita. Para ring paghahanap ng ka-relasyon. Kasi doon sa tsinelas, ang pagkatao mo ay lalabas. Kasi doon ka mas komportable. Doon ka nagiging "ikaw". Doon ka mas napapahinga. Sa tsinelas ka nagiging mas totoong tao. At ito ang madalas na kong naririnig...

Hanapin ang magsisilbing tsinelas mo sa buhay. Yung kahit pudpod na, at sira sira na e pilit mo pa ring hahanap hanapin at ipagpipilitang isuot kung nasa bahay ka na.

2008 was the year of so highs and very downs for me. here's the rundown of '08 for me.

our Ops team (Jinggay Juicers) went to a tour of luzon team building last week of feb and it was a blast! we went to pagudpud, laoag, vigan and baguio. take that!

after we came back from the trip, i bid goodbye to my Ops team as i was promoted to the IT Helpdesk effective march 16. new challenges and new acquaintances. great 1st quarter of 2008!

2 months after, we celebrated our 2nd year anniversary.  scheduled my PTO for the week and flew to iloilo to spend the special day with her. still good...

come july, birthday came and it's also the first time that she's with me during my birthday.  she also passed her NCLEX exams that month.

my mom also was able to go to canada and to be with my sister when she gave birth last august.

we, helpdesk wildcats, went on to bag the 4 on 4 basketball league championship versus the PS Admin Team last december 20, 2008.  i scored 10 pts including 2 treys that led to our come from behind win.

she eventually landed a job as a military nurse for the AFP and that means she's staying here in Manila for good.

everything went smoothly and it all went according to plans. we've been spending the majority of our relationship being apart so this would be a great opportunity to further stregthen our bond.

and that's what i thought...

december 22. the whole world crashed. it turned upside down with just a snap.
